Carbon footprint of your sofa, Festival meal


Recently, the Scientific American journal reported that  normally the atmospheric level of carbon dioxide is at its minimum in September. However, in September this year, it has peaked at 400 parts per million (ppm). The journal quoted scientists as saying that it may not go below this level ever.Rising levels of carbon dioxide, the most important greenhouse gas is of great concern even at the  individual  level. I thought it is interesting to look at the topic afresh. I wrote an article on it in The Wire.
